I am once again in amazement how much God is truly in control, always turning negative situations into positive ones. He made the impossible possible so that we can be reminded that God has His plans and His method on how he wants to reach the lost, our job is simply being obedient and physically be where she wants us to be, which in the event of “Citywide Prayer Walk” the City of Santa Clara.

The English Young Audit Cell Group of San Jose had made the decision to pray for “Pathway Society Inc-Drug & Alcohol Services (Addiction care) during the Prayer Walk. A group of nine cell members arrived at the site, with some efforts we were still UNABLE to locate the actual center, and therefore one group member gave a suggestion to walk around the block and prayer for the area. With sounding “yes” we grouped in teams of 2s and 3s and headed out on our courses. Some traveled to the lift will others traveled to the right. We prayed over the retirement home, retail shops, Liquored store, Education center, Santa Claria Chamber or Commerce, Greenpoint Apartment, Santa Clara United Methodist Church, Pakistani & Indian restaurants, other retail shops, banks, and even a contraction site building new condominiums. The spirit of God was truly there and once again multiplied His blessing ten folds and a hundred folds so those that hunger would be feed and those that thirst will thirst no more.

Through this experience I came to the realization of what it means when the word of God states… “for it is better to give then to receive”. It is in our giving that God can bless us abundantly, more then what we gave or are able to give. During the prayer walk, our intentions were to bless a center, but God wanted to bless the whole block. We went there praying God will personally minister to those hurting individuals behind closed doors of Addiction Care Center, but God opened a “Gateway” (Chamber of Commerce) to reach even more souls across the oceans. God had greater plans, He wanted to pour out His blessing on the entire block and we as children of God got to partake and be encouraged as God’s wonders unfolds.
